I recently did my first maternity photo shoot, here is a shot from an afternoon with a very lovely mom-to-be (and her very cooperative hubby too!)!    I had a lot of fun, and can't wait to take pictures of their newborn baby girl, expected in February! 

Fine Art Prints

A little behind...

Happy Tuesday!   Unfortunately, I already missed two days of my 366 challenge.   But Sunday, I did get an opportunity to go to a state park here in Colorado with a friend and shoot some really pretty landscapes.   So I will post 3 from Sunday to make up for it!    We are expecting a good storm tomorrow, so if I can manage to get out of the house, it should make for some fun photo ops.   Some of my good friends from my old pharma job are in Denver for a sales meeting-they get to experience the winter wonderland first-hand!  (It was great seeing ya'll again!).  Have a great week everyone!

Happy Birthday, Jeri!

Today is one of my dearest friend in the world's birthday!   Happy Birthday, girlfriend!   Jeri is getting ready to run the PF Changs 1/2 marathon this Sunday-WOOHOO!!   We are all rooting for you girl!   

Snow

Ok, I have been in Colorado seven months now.   I am officially tired of the snow.   I went into Costco today, and was there for, say, 45 minutes (45 minutes of pure bliss-I do love Costco!).   It was overcast, but not freezing cold, or otherwise blustery.   When I exited, I was smack in the middle of a blizzard.   How does this happen in 45 minutes?   My car was white, my coat was in the trunk.   Nice.  In Arizona, it takes weeks or months for weather to change, much less minutes!   This must be my "adjustment period".   Hmmm.

I am proud to be part of a new organization designed to benefit breast cancer patients...

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions.

Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

As Think Pink Photography grows, so will the opportunities for you to become involved and support this important cause. My 366 challenge...

A little more on the idea of posting a picture a day....   I am participating in a 366 photos for 2008 challenge, with the idea being to take one picture a day and post it.   Hopefully, this will keep me accountable for picking up my sweet cam every day!   Anyway, I will post each day in my 366 album-keep checking in!   

Welcome to my blog!

Hooray!   I finally have a blog!  Who'dathunkit?!   It is 2008-my how time flies!     I swore I wasn't making resolutions this year-but here I am, making resolutions.   But, it's all good right?   Because resolutions show that you have hope!   Hope that you have the ability to change something that didn't quite sit well with you the previous year.   So, anyway, my biggest resolutions this year are to really get moving in my photography business.  My website is almost built (yay!).   Now I have a blog to keep anyone who cares updated on my progress.    Check in from time to time-I will try to update this daily (yet another resolution).    I am also going to try to post pictures daily.    Nothing fancy, it will just force me to pick up the camera on a daily basis!   (We'll see how this resolution goes!)      Ciao for now!
