Day of Caring

This past weekend was the Day of Caring - Breast Cancer Forum, which I shot images of for Cure magazine.   This was my first time attending this amazing event, and I have to say,  I was so impressed by the organization, time and effort that was quite clearly invested in this forum.   The forum is  a two-day meeting designed to support breast cancer patients with amazing workshops, speakers and sponsors providing many different forms of information and services.   I was present in the morning and photographed the registration, breakfast and the opening sessions.  I returned in the evening with my assistant (my wonderful husband) for their annual fashion show.   The fashion show was so much fun!   The models were breast cancer survivors, looked amazing and absolutely loved being on stage!   I am so grateful to have been a part of these women's lives for a few short hours.   Hearing their stories was so touching, and the entire event was both inspiring and empowering.   I hope to be a part of this again next year.   You can find photos from this event in the Day of Caring album...
